We are incredibly grateful for the generous donation from 100+ WWC. It came at a time when we were navigating multiple challenges, and it made a meaningful difference. The funds were used to purchase new furniture for our space, which had been rendered unusable for nearly three months due to a flood. This support helped us restore a welcoming and functional environment where our community could once again gather, heal, and connect.
In addition to revitalizing our space, the donation allowed us to host a community celebration that brought people together in a joyful and affirming way. We were also able to offer nominal gift cards to individuals through a needs-based system—provided only when other resources weren’t available to them. These small but thoughtful gestures helped meet essential needs and offered comfort during moments of personal hardship.
We received heartfelt feedback from participants who shared how these efforts helped them feel more connected to our community and more hopeful during difficult times. The impact of your support is felt not just in the physical improvements, but in the relationships and trust we continue to build.
We’d love to welcome you for a visit so you can see the space and meet our team. I’ve attached a photo in case you’d like to include it in your newsletter or share it with members.
With deep appreciation,
Abbi
