The giving total for November was $9,205! Stone Soup received $8,350 from our membership.
Here is a short recap of the meeting:
- Members nominated (or renominated) 5 local non-profits for this round. They were: The PeaceMaker Awards, Hearth Girls Rite of Passage, Songbird Sings, Hilltown Youth Recovery Theater, and Stone Soup Cafe. Three organizations were randomly picked in a blind draw to present at our meeting.
- The 3 non-profits selected in order were: Songbird Sings, Stone Soup Cafe, and Hilltown Youth Recovery Theater.
- Stone Soup Cafe was voted this quarter’s recipient of our group gift. The voting was as follows: Stone Soup Cafe received 58 votes, Hilltown Youth Recovery Theater had 23 votes, and Songbird Sings had 12 votes – for a total of 93.
- Going into this meeting our shared gifting total was $42,026. When all contributions are collected for this quarter we will exceed $50,000 in total donations! Congratulations to us for making such a difference in our community.
